Naxos Town Walking Tour

An ideal walking tour that covers the main highlights of Naxos Old Town providing an excellent orientation of the area as well.

Beginning from the temple of Apollo (Portara) we continue to the Castle area meandering through its quaint alleys. Upon reaching it’s top we visit the Catholic Cathedral to discover the historic coats of arms and a unique 11th cent. byzantine icon. On the way down we pass by the local market place discussing about current local life and island traditions.
